Applications are now being accepted for our new professional development experience for teachers!

 

Date: Sunday July 8 to Saturday July 14, 2018
Departure and Return: Carleton University, Department of Earth Sciences, Room 2120 Herzberg Bldg
Accomodations: Queen's University Biological Station, Opinicon Lake, ON
Program: Residential field experience with daily visits to regional outcrops and sites of geological interest to explore inquiry-based learning
Field Trip Leaders: Beth Halfkenny and Claudia Schröder-Adams
Who Can Apply: Educators from K-12, including in service and pre-service teachers, all levels of expertise and experience, who teach science
Fee: $200 (includes accomodations, daily travel by van, all meals and participant resource kit, payable upon registration)
Number of participants: Up to 10 teachers
Application Deadline: May 15th, 2018

We will notify sucessful applicants after May 15th, who will have until June 1st to register. A waiting list will be kept until all spots are filled.
